Matthew Martin is a founding partner of the Oklahoma City based litigation firm, MARTIN + FIELDING; a firm staunchly committed to helping those who have suffered serious injury or loss due to the negligence, intentional misconduct, or wrongful acts of others.  Matthew is an experienced trial attorney, and he has been selected as an Oklahoma SuperLawyers Rising Star every year since 2011.  Matthew has also been selected as one of the Top 40 Litigation lawyers Under 40 in the State of Oklahoma for 2016 by the American Society of Legal Advocates, and as one of the Top 10 Personal Injury  Attorneys Under 40 in the State of Oklahoma for 2016 by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys.

Matthew focuses his practice on representing the victims and their families in various types of catastrophic medical and nursing negligence lawsuits, with an emphasis on cases involving birth injury, failure to diagnose cardiovascular and neurological trauma, and surgical error.  Matthew also represents plaintiffs in lawsuits involving nursing home abuse + neglect, personal injury, and insurance bad faith.

From 2007-2015, Matthew was a successful medical malpractice defense attorney with Foliart, Huff, Ottaway & Bottom, in Oklahoma City, where he represented physicians, nurses, and hospitals in cases involving birth injury, medical negligence, and wrongful death.  In 2015, Matthew decided to take this valuable experience to follow a new path of helping the victims and their families in cases similar to those he defended for nearly a decade.
